EGS was contracted by the Toledo Power Company to undertake a series of measurements of soil resistivity at selected ground locations, in support of future installations at the Toledo Power Plant, Toledo, Cebu. Results were to be used as part of the design parameters for future earthing arrangements at the site.

EGS (Asia) Ltd was contracted by Tyco Telecommunications to undertake the Cable Route Feasibility Study, Site Surveys and Cable Route Survey, as well as Burial Assessment Survey of the system. This included detailed survey of the shore landing area and trench route location onland, which was carried out successfully by our EGSi team.

DSCN project links Sri Lanka to the Maldives and has additional domestic links in the Maldives between Hulhumale and Male, Male and Kaafu Villingili and Laamu Gan and Gaafu Dhaal Gadhoo.

Dhiraagu Submarine Cable Network (DSCN)
     
 
EGS was contracted by the Water Supplies Department, Government of Hong Kong, in 2008 to achieve a series of cross-hole seismic tomographic measurements to provide detailed information on rock type and estimates of rock quality for a proposed tunnel construction in Hong Kong, that will connect two previously independent reservoirs to the water supply system.

EGS (Asia) Ltd has recently completed a detailed study to provide reliable hydrological information and flow data on behalf of the Drainage Services Department (DSD) of Hong Kong.
The purpose of the survey was to provide data for calibrating and validating the computational hydraulic model of the Northern New Territories Drainage Master Plan at specified locations during storm periods.

The purpose of the survey was to determine the current pollution loading of the Drainage Services Department (DSD) storm water channels and culverts, identify the source of expedient connections and to evaluate the pollution control effectiveness and operational performance of existing Dry Weather Flow Interceptors (DWFI’s) within the study area.
