the remote, southern coastline of Timor Leste.
With local land logistics support from their client, Toke
Oil and Gas SA, EGS had to mobilise their inshore vessels,
survey equipment, jack up barges and land drilling rigs from
overseas and manage a self contained, stand alone survey mission
for 60 days. EGS Geotechnical, Technical Director Jeff James
commented: ”to arrive in these unspoilt locations, with virtually
no land transport and carry out 3 detailed surveys in such
challenging circumstances, is a testament to the character,
commitment and professional excellence of the whole Toke -
EGS team. We are delighted to have provided the first series
of quality land and marine survey data for the future infrastructure
plans of the Government of Timor Leste."
